Team Tragedies
Like all sports, Dallas Cowboys had some members of their team, past and present leave us to soon. We want to extend our hearts to the family and friend of these fallen team mates.
DON MEREDITH
4-10-1938 - 12-5-2010
Don Meredith dies at 72 in Santa Fe New Mexico from a brain hemorrhage and slipped into a coma.
His wife and daughter was by his side when he passed.
Don Meredith played for the Cowboys from 1960-1968, becoming the starting quarterback in 1965.
NFL Player of the year in 1966
Comments from the owner of Carrz-Fox-Fire Promotions«, Wayne Barron.
This holds a special place in my heart, as Don Meredith is my distant cousin on my mother's texas family side. He will be dearly missed and remembered for all that he has done in life for the Dallas Cowboys and the NFL and for his family.

2010 Games
9/26/2010 Dallas Cowboys 27 - Houston Texans 13
Dallas Cowboys proved once again that they are a contender in the NFL East division.
With the start of the Dallas vs. Houston game on Sunday, Dallas looked like they were not going to go that far in the game, with pour passing and some of the sorriest playing that I had seen in a while with these Cowboys. The 1/2 dwindled down and Dallas tucked their tales between their legs and went into 1/2 time. After the 1/2 the cowboys come back to dominate the Texans in a 27 to 13 victory that proved that these Cowboys are here to stay.
Roy Williams should have received the MVP of the game for his on-field performance.
Catching, running and generating Touchdowns to victor over the Texans in a must win game.
I know that the 3rd game is not that important, but when you are down 0 and 2 at the start of the season, you better do something, and the Cowboys did it in Dallas Texas Style.
Bye-Week Report for October 1st, 2010
Dallas Cowboys have their bye week which is coming at a pretty good time if you ask me. With some injuries that need attention and down time for healing and repair, this bye week could not have come soon enough. We hope and wish the Cowboys that are injured the very best and hope for speedy recovery time.
A few to mention that are on the injury list.
Jason Witten - Is being held out of practice with knee injury, expected to play next week.
Kyle Kosier - Is being held out of practice with knee injury, unknown if he'll play next week.
Dez Bryant - Is being held out of practice with rib and hip injuries, expected to play next week.
Marc Colombo - Is being held out of practice just as a precaution, no new injury.
Mike Jenkins - Limited in practice with knee injury, expected to play next week.
Sean Lee, Sam Young - Both back at practice.
Did Roy Williams and Dez Bryant go too far?
I just read an article posted on Oct. 1st 2010 by: Drew Sharp from www.freep.com
Cowboys wrong to boast of Dez Bryant's huge dinner bill
It states that Roy Williams invited 20 Dallas Cowboy Team Mates out for dinner to a steakhouse and Dez Bryant was handed the bill afterwards as a payback for not carrying Roy Williams Shoulder Pads during practice.
The dinner bill came to an astounding $54,896.00 for the team players to eat dinner.
Now, I am a HUGE Dallas Cowboys fan, and I love my Cowboys team no matter what happens during game time, but this is just wrong of the players to do especially knowing that I am sitting here unemployed and having to sell off my work truck in order to pay an outstanding storage building fee or I lose everything I own.
And here you go with a player that has just signed on with the cowboys for 8.3 million in guaranteed money, and he is just throwing it away like it is nothing.
Hey Dez and Roy, you two are giving the Cowboys a black eye with this stupid publicity stunt or whatever you think that it is.
Stop and think, and I am pretty sure that your mothers do not like it either and if they do like this then someone went wrong somewhere in the raising of you guys.
Show some respect and stop acting childish with your money and let's play so football!
10/25/2010 Dallas Cowboys 35 New York Giants 41
Gia nts linebacker Michael Boley tackles Romo who was injured with a left Clavicle that will possible take him out for several games if not, for the remainder of the season.
Jon Kitna is brought in to replace the injured Romo and a Dez Bryant 93 yrd TD punt return to give Dallas a 20 to 7 lead over the Giants.
The Cowboys lost with a 41 to 35 win in favor of the Giants.
11/08/2010 Head Coaching Position Change during 1/2 season
Wade Phillips was released from his Coaching contract on Monday after 6 straight losses for a total of 7 losses on the season, proving that he was not the right person to lead the Cowboys to anything less than a near winless season. Wade Phillips tactics were not what makes a good strong figure as a coach, especially for America's Team.
Offensive Coordinator Jason Garrett took over the coaching position last Monday when Wade Phillips was released by Jerry Jones.
Knowing the Cowboys inside and out is something that Jason Garrett had on his side when he was given the Interim Head Coaching position.
This was a must win to prove to the critics that Jason Garrett has what it takes to be a Head Coach for the Dallas Cowboys.
As some fill that Jason is not the one for this job, he seemed to look and feel very comfortable with his 33 to 20 Victory over the Sundays Road game against the New York Giants.
11/14/2010 Dallas Cowboys 33 - New York Giants 20
Jon Kitna came into this game with irons blazing as he led his cowboys to a 33 to 20 victory over the Giants in The Game of the Week.
Dez Bryant with several high profile star catches and an 101 yard interception to TD from Bryan McCann, a TD from Miles Austin and a 71 yard TD run from Felix Jones along with some strange power outages and some more Top Performance Cowboy plays, made this a must see win on Sunday.
Could this be the game that turns it all around? Time will only tell as we have 7 more games left in the season to find out if the Dallas Cowboys has what it takes to be the team to beat in the NFL East.
