Pensacola Civic Center
- KISS was the first musical act to ever perform at this taxpayer funded venue, an alternative to the nearby Municipal Auditorium in Mobile, AL. The early history of the venue was that it faced notable sound problems, "perhaps caused by backward installation of acoustic insulation".
Ticketing challenges also affected the venue with no outlets east of the city offering tickets for the venue, nor did the venue offer mail-order. KISS holds the record for being the first band to ever perform at the arena 30 years ago. Since then, the band has made Pensacola a destination on North America tours.
