« perform the first of a 3 night SOLD OUT concert set, at the famous Cobo Hall in Detroit, Michigan. Performing 13 songs to a crowd of 12,001. With supporting act Back Street Crawler.
During this show, they also received a Gold Award for the ALIVE album, as well as a Photo Shoot backstage with some very candid photo's of Gene Simmons.

The start of the « Tour Books. The first printing was released at the January 25, 1976 concert at the Cobo Hall in Detroit, Michigan. This was the start of the collectors of KISS memorabilia, up until this point, there was only concert shirts, and really not much else. Once the tour book hit the scene, then other merchandise started to follow.

KISS received a Gold Award for the the ALIVE Album Sales during this show. «
KISS did a photo session before the show backstage. Showing the Gene Simmons is a real character while in his early years as the demon. Ace Frehley still the comedian out of the bunch, and Paul Stanley will always be the one eager to flash his good looks. «
