On this day in KISSTORY, January 27, 1985, Footage from the December 8 show in Detroit was used for an episode of MTV's Saturday Night Concerts series. A more complete, but still heavily edited (and overdubbed) version of the show would be released by RCA/MusicVision as Kiss: Animalize Live Uncensored in April. This show was also broadcast live it its entirety on a local FM radio station. Furthermore, "Heaven's on Fire" from this concert was included on the 1985 Hear N'Aid charity LP.

31 years ago today(January 27, 1985) KISS rocked Corpus at the Memorial Coliseum, and I still have a few keepsakes from that show such as the photo I took of Paul Stanley when he decided to run over to me and strike a pose, I was a nervous wreck at age 15 as I aimed and snapped for the perfect picture and from that moment on I was hooked...and "The Ren Adams Cam" was born! Also managed to hold on to my Concert tee from that show, for which my daugther seems perfectly fitted in it now. My friends, Tim Herndon, Mark Adame(R.I.P.), Joey Garcia, and myself had a "KISSTORICAL" time on that Special Sunday nite, and memories were created and still remembered decades later!!
